What makes me sad is it appears that Flippers Fascination on the Boardwalk is finished. With the property up for sale and talk of moving the machines into a section of the Museum that Randy wants to create, it sure looks that way.

The sounds of the tram cars, the smells of the various food vendor wares, and the noise..oh the noise, it all brings me back to a simpler time, when bills and deadlines were not part of my life.

I'm still holding out hope that maybe Flipper's is listed for sale just to put out feelers on how much money it could actually fetch (as many businesses on the island do year after year, but still stay in business under the same ownership).  Or maybe even it finds a new location on the boards.  I hope the new museum on Pacific Ave. comes to fruition, but I really don't want to see the fascination palor leave the boardwalk permanently.  I had never known what Flipper's was all about or even played a game of fascination my whole life until a few years ago.  I kept hearing a buzz about this place (mainly here and a couple other websites), so I had to check it out for myself.  I was hooked almost from the moment I stepped foot in the place, and became a repeat customer after that.  The game itself is great, but it's the Master of Ceremonies who really made that place tick.  The amount of time and effort he put into making your experience fun and memorable at a very affordable price was simply amazing to me.  It was like he knew the ins & outs of that place with all its quirky contraptions so well, he could run the show in his sleep.  Just a great entertainer and a true old school showman.  IMO the boardwalk needs more people like Randy Senna; people who are that committed to their work and genuinely care about the customer's experience and the future of the island.  Losing Flipper's Fascination and Randy's highly entertaining and very unique talents forever would be a HUGE loss for our beloved boardwalk.

Please come back Randy.
