I last remember seeing the sign during the Summer of '03. I'm not even sure whether Shea's was still open at the time; can't quite recall. I believe the store sat vacant for a year or two. Anyway, by some point in 2004, the structure was gone. The following year, condos were up in its place. The sign was old and somewhat weathered during the final years of the market's operation, but was likely in fine working order. I guess I can't say for sure, but I assume it could have been refurbished. I don't know whether anyone got it, or if it went down with the ship, so to speak...
