just yesterday received a bill in the mail from Waters Edge referring to a stay in 2009!!!!!! My husband called today and they state they no longer send out paper statements, all transactions are done via email! I find that to be suspicious.....a friend of mine received an email some time ago that her reservation would not be held since her deposit had not been received...when in fact her deposit check was sent, and obviously received, since it was cashed!!!!!!!

Very strange. I have stayed at the Waters Edge multiple times as well in the past few years, and have never had a problem with them. Every confirmation I received from them was via email, so paper statements are kind of unusual.

The people who run the place are wonderful, and I'm sure if you call them up, they will help out. I know pretty much all Wildwood motels have you pay the balance when you check in, so there's really no way a balance would go unpaid that I could see.

That is really strange... I've been staying there for years, and Diane honored my reservation even tho I had changed phone numbers and she couldn't reach me to confirm. Could there be a not so honest employee doing things behind their backs? Maybe you should make a copy of that letter you got, and send it to them, to see if any of them actually sent that...

6th floor? There some place in that hotel I don't know about? I always was on the top level with the private balconies, which was the 5th... hmm...

In the "Newer" building, the one that makes the corner of Ocean and Lavender... They consider it the sixth floor but the 1st floor is actually the parking. Roll Eyes
