Very strange. I have stayed at the Waters Edge multiple times as well in the past few years, and have never had a problem with them. Every confirmation I received from them was via email, so paper statements are kind of unusual. The people who run the place are wonderful, and I'm sure if you call them up, they will help out. I know pretty much all Wildwood motels have you pay the balance when you check in, so there's really no way a balance would go unpaid that I could see.
