Historic Hotels of America: Caribbean Motel

While researching something else, I came across the Caribbean's listing on the Historic Hotels of America's site. It's nicely done:

At the bottom of the page, there's a link to another page on their site with further architectural and historical information on the Caribbean (and the Wildwoods).

Not only in Wildwood, but I think it is the only actual motel included as part of the Historic Hotels of America, period. I'd need to check to confirm though...

From what I saw by quickly searching through their site, it really is the only actual motel they've recognized, and one of three Mid-Century Modern hotels or motels period (one of these three - by coincidence - is Hotel Valley Ho that I started a thread about recently).

As far as the location perfect just where it is! I saw what happens the closer you get to the action. I lived it and Worked it!!

I'm staying there in August in one of the C-Luxe rooms with kitchenette. When Carolyn returned my call confirming the deposit, she was really sweet. They have welcome parties on Sundays, when we get there. She was really sweet & I can't wait!
