It looks like a new Starbucks will be coming across from the McDonald's on Rio. They are going before the planning board next month.
PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that on the 6th day of June, 2022, at 6:00 p.m., prevailing time, a hearing will be held before the Planning and Zoning Board of the City of Wildwood in the Commission Meeting Room, 2nd Floor of the Wildwood Municipal Building, 4400 New Jersey Avenue, Wildwood, NJ 08260, on the appeal or application of the above named applicant for an amended site plan approval and/or variance relief from the requirements of the Zoning Ordinance so as to permit: Applicant intends to construct on the vacant lot, a new Starbucks store with parking and drive thru. A Popeye's store with variances was previously approved on the site, so this application is for an amended site plan approval with one variance for not providing a designated loading zone per Section 17-608 and one waiver for maximum number of freestanding and wall mounted signs per Section 17-609 of the Ordinance. Applicant requests any and all other variances, waivers and/or approvals deemed necessary by the board on the premises located at 4800 Park Boulevard and designated as Block 47, Lots 9 on the Tax Map of the City of Wildwood, located in the GC zone or district. A copy of the said application and all maps and accompanying documents are available for public inspection during normal business hours in the Office of the Secretary of the Wildwood Planning & Zoning Board in the Wildwood Municipal Building, 4400 New Jersey Avenue, Wildwood, NJ 08260, by all interested parties at least ten (10) days prior to the said hearing.
