Hello everyone, last weekend I finally did what I had been wanting to do for quite some time: go on a day trip in the off-season. It was a beautiful day, reaching about 70 degrees. I put together a video of my journey. It's my first time doing commentary in my Wildwood videos, I seem to get comments and questions on my Youtube wanting information so I figured I'd give it a shot. Looking like I'll be doing a full vacation in August 21!

Really enjoyed the video, Sean. A nice document of the area during off-season.You're also a pleasant narrator. Can't believe what happened to that whale painting. Yet another thing bites the dust down there. Sad.
Just saw this for the first time this morning. Great commentary and video, what a beautiful day. We miss Duffy's too and used to make day trips but now it just seems to far. The ride down from GSP exit 157 is cake at 6 am but the ride home is murder.
Very nice video. With the Brine also gone, the only way to enjoy a meal watching the sun go down on the lake is to buy a sandwich from Rita's and sit on a bench.
Really enjoyed the video. Thanks for posting..........Warren.
Thanks for making this video, I'm enjoying watching it. It's particularly nice you went to Sunset Lake and brought up Duffy's. It's been gone a while now but when I think back my family had some really nice memories there. We used to eat breakfast there most mornings and dinner a few times to. One of the things I remember most from breakfast (other than the amazing Belgian waffles) was seeing Sunset Lake come alive in the morning with Jet Skis. It was such a serene view no matter the time of day. It's a shame the new owners couldn't just leave things mostly alone and ended up killing the business but I'm thankful for the good times there.
Nice video and commentary blue...I'm glad you had a nice day. Did you go alone? Where was your fiance?
Not sure if you know, but the Photon (laser tag) building was originally a movie theater before it was converted to Photon in the 80s.
