30th Wildwood anniversary booked!

Hard to believe, but 1993 was the first year I stayed in Wildwood at 7 years old. Though I took a gap and didn't stay from 2004-2012, I've been going every year for the past 10 years. I'll once again be staying at the Shalimar. 8/26-8/31. Can't wait!!

I live in Bayonne. Over the past few years my gf and I have settled on the end of August. I'd prefer September, but as a teacher we go back to school then so it's tough. Same with June, I'd prefer that too but we usually are in school till the end of June and I work summer school June/July.

I've just booked a room for September 3-10. It's my favorite time of year to go, and have been doing it since the 80s or so. September is ideal if you can do it. Great weather, less crowded, things are mostly open, albeit some with limited hours.

Congratulations, August will be here before you know it. We haven't booked yet but are looking at September 4th thru 11th probably but not for sure at the Waikiki as we have reached a point in our lives we enjoy September most. The videos you posted have me thinking about the Armada but we shall see.

I think I'd enjoy September too, but as a teacher it's tough as I go right back to work after Labor Day. We stayed until Sept 2nd last year and I was really liking the vibe. I don't think I can do peak summer anymore.

September is great if you can do it. The weather is still great and it's just less hectic and way less expensive. We would like to eventually stretch it out from a week to 10-14 days in a few years when we are retired. Late June is great too but the water is still kind of cold.

September has always been my favorite time to go, but we've been trying out different weeks in the summer since my son is in school. I agree that being down peak summer is too much with the heat and crowds. So far, we're enjoying being down during the end of June, but are also lucky enough to be there for a few days during the September car show.
