I saw on Facebook that the Doo Wop Drive Inn had been put up for sale, which is somewhat of a surprise because the owners recently moved back to their location at the Tangiers. When they announced they were opening the Tangiers Cafe, they said that both spots would be open. This will be the last season for the Doo Wop, so, fortunately, you can still have a chance to stop by this season. I definitely will! I just hope they at least remain at the Tangiers because I crave those amazing breakfast sandwiches all year long!
I picked up breakfast sandwiches from the Tangiers Café last week and, while I can't speak about their other food, they were just as tasty as the Doo Wop Drive In. We went to the Doo Wop on our last day and I was lucky enough to speak with the owner to let him know how much we love their food. He said he's not sure if he'll still be open in September depending on staffing.
