According to the Cabrera Coastal Real Estate site, it looks like the Caribbean Motel is now under contract. Hopefully, the new owners will just enhance the existing motel.

According to the realtor's Facebook page, the Caribbean will be staying a motel. So, that is good news.
According to the property records, it was owned by SEAKING LAND COMPANY OF NJ LLC.
I was hoping to pay a visit. Who were the previous owners, by the way? Were they local?
