I would like to see something that stays open year round. I do not believe there is a free standing Dunkin on the island, there is one on 47 east in Rio Grande. I have no use for Starbucks even if it were free.
I'd rather see an independently-owned coffee shop that would add more character to the island. I used to love it when I first started going there, and sometimes it is a nice treat. Still, at the end of the day it truly is overpriced coffee taking away business from others. Not to mention, there's nothing really special about it.
Like we need one of those around town. Overpriced coffee, but at least it doesn't taste as good as the less expensive coffee. It better have a Googie theme, otherwise replace it with a Chick-Fil-A.

totally agree with everyone. Leave the Starbucks to Stone Harbor and Avalon
Disappointing. Will take away business from the morning breakfast spots. Not a good sign to see this in the bigger picture either....
I would rather see a Dunkin with a doo wop design and a drive thru than Starbucks if it were my choice.
