The forum needs "categories".

I think we very much need categories like the last forum had. Wading through a hodge podge of posts is in my opinion just not user friendly. Anyone agree, disagree? Warren.

Yes. I just got back on after a 2 year absence. What happened?

I agree...This forum is confusing and impossible to navigate.....jeeeze ....get back the original categories...this is a mess.

There are still categories, I think the issue is once you enter the category subforms the threads would be easier to navigate if there weren't two rows. Having two rows makes things very messy.

It seems like the moderator has lost interest in improving the board and that it's on autopilot now. I hope it doesn't crash...

Yes. He has been m.i.a. since the first few weeks.

I guess "Russ Simmons" has left the building

@Hulk007 Yeah, he seemed enthusiastic the first few weeks but some concerns of mine (sent directly to him) have gone unaddressed so now I'm losing hope and interest.

Gee, it would be nice if there were something like a Reddit group for this topic of ours. Hint, hint. Go look.

The old home page allowed you to see all of the activity quickly and see what is trending as a popular subject....It was easy to check out everything quickly. I have to say I think everyone on this forum is amazing and the best source of Wildwood news and real inside information but....I have drifted away because of the goofy format.

I agree. Makes us go thru all the posts every time

I'm not sure what you mean. Scroll up to the top of the page, and click on "doo wop forum" . That will bring you to different categories.

Holy mackeral. I did not know those categories were there. Thank you for pointing it out.. I have to say since one would already be on the forum, clicking on Doo Wop Forum is just not intuitive. Never the less I hope all are or become aware of the categories. Thanks again Blue_surge.

@cecilrowe no prob! I was wondering why the other categories seemed desolate haha

It was the guy who started the original forum that urged them to get rid of it because it had nothing to do with preservation for years and just had certain people insulting various Wildwood businesses that threatened to sue.

I don't think giving an honest review of a place can be considered insulting local businesses. Are they also going to sue Yelp, Google, Trip Advisor and every other social media that features reviews?
